Who we are
Mystique Companions (“we”, “us”) operates mystiquecompanions.com and arranges introductions between members and the companions we represent. For the purposes of data protection law we are the data controller for the personal data described here.
You can reach us at concierge@mystiquecompanions.com for anything in this policy, including requests to access or delete your data.
What we collect
We collect only what we need to answer you, run a membership, and arrange the bookings you ask for.
- Enquiry and application details — name, email, phone or messenger handle, the city you are based in, and what you are looking for.
- Booking details — dates, destinations, the arrangement requested, and any preferences you choose to tell us.
- Billing records — invoices and payment references. We do not store full card numbers; card payments are processed by our payment provider.
- Correspondence — the messages between you and your concierge.
- Technical data — basic server logs. This website sets no advertising or analytics cookies.
We do not ask for, and would rather you did not send, information you do not need to give us. Nothing on this site requires you to disclose identity documents, financial details beyond what an invoice needs, or anything about your health or personal life.
Why we hold it, and on what basis
- To respond to your enquiry — because you asked us to (your consent, and our legitimate interest in answering).
- To run your membership and arrange bookings — performance of the agreement between us.
- To keep accounting records — a legal obligation.
- To protect our members and companions — our legitimate interest in a safe, vetted community.
We do not sell personal data. We do not share it for marketing. We do not profile you or make automated decisions about you.
Who sees it
Inside the company, only the small team who arrange introductions. Your concierge sees what they need to arrange your booking.
A companion is told what she needs in order to arrive prepared — the occasion, the venue, the dates and any preferences you have asked us to pass on. She is not given your correspondence, your billing details or anything else you have not asked us to share.
Outside the company, only service providers acting on our instructions: our email host, our payment provider and our accountants. Each is bound by contract to protect the data and may not use it for anything else.
We will disclose data where the law requires it. If that ever happens and we are permitted to tell you, we will.
How long we keep it
- Unsuccessful enquiries — deleted within 6 months.
- Booking correspondence — removed once no longer relevant to a booking, and in any case within 24 months.
- Membership records — kept for the life of the membership and 12 months afterwards.
- Invoices and accounting records — kept for 6 years, because we are required to.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you have some or all of the following rights. We honour them regardless of where you are.
- Ask what we hold about you, and get a copy.
- Have anything inaccurate corrected.
- Have your data deleted where we are not required to keep it.
- Object to or restrict how we use it.
- Withdraw consent at any time, without affecting anything done before you withdrew it.
- Ask for your data in a portable format.
Write to concierge@mystiquecompanions.com. We respond within 30 days, usually much sooner, and we do not charge for it.
Security
This site is served over HTTPS. Correspondence is held in access-controlled accounts limited to the team who need it. Members are offered a private concierge number over an end-to-end encrypted messenger, which we recommend for anything sensitive.
No system is perfect. If a breach ever affects your data, we will tell you and the relevant regulator promptly.
International transfers
We arrange introductions worldwide, so data may be handled outside your country. Where it is transferred out of the UK or EEA we rely on adequacy decisions or standard contractual clauses.
Changes to this policy
When this policy changes we update the date at the top. Material changes are notified to members by email before they take effect.
